Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian has reiterated the necessity of accurately conveying the realities and unique scenes created during the 40-day resistance of the Iranian nation against the US-Israeli aggression.
Speaking in a meeting with the minister, deputies, and senior managers at the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance on Thursday, Pezeshkian stated that precise articulation of achievements and facts during this period is of paramount importance.
He emphasized the need to produce effective narratives using diverse and creative methods to properly reflect national accomplishments.
Appreciating the efforts of the country's management team, he said: "During this war, powers with extensive claims and prestige stood against the Iranian nation, but the people's steadfastness caused these currents to inevitably retreat. This is a significant and strategic achievement for the country."
He further identified the people's role as decisive, saying: "With their conscious presence, the people neutralized all scenarios designed to create instability and, contrary to the enemy's calculations, strengthened national cohesion."
The president pointed to the illegal and unconventional actions of the aggressors during the war, noting: "At a point where the enemy reached a state of desperation, they resorted to actions that are rejected not only from a legal and international perspective but also from a human standpoint."
This, he said, includes targeting vital infrastructure, service centers, schools, and medical facilities, which is a clear violation of human rights principles and the rules of war.
"Some imagined that by intensifying threats, the Iranian people would withdraw from the scene. However, in practice we witnessed a stronger presence of the people and an increased level of social responsibility," he added.
Referencing successful examples of public participation in building schools and health centers, Pezeshkian remarked: "These experiences show that by relying on the people's capabilities, many problems can be solved with greater speed and quality."
