Iran will determine end of war imposed by US, Israel: Military

The spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters of Iran says Tehran is the party that will determine the end of the ongoing war of aggression against the Islamic Republic.

Lieutenant Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaqari, in a statement on Monday, dismissed US President Donald Trump's threats, stating that the Iranian Armed Forces have at times reiterated they wouldn't initiate a war but have declared vocally they will determine the end of any armed conflict.

"Atrocities, warmongering, and flawed policies of the US president have resulted in nothing other than massacre and insecurity in the region and across the world; and evoked multi-million-strong protests in the US and worldwide," Zolfaqari said.

The senior Iranian military official noted that Trump's selfishness, dictatorship and miscalculations, which are rooted in his illusions, ego and unstable character, have not only distressed Americans but also all peoples.

Zolfaqari noted that the multi-million-strong rallies in the US herald a bleak future of a war which has compelled Trump, implicated in Epstein files, to satisfy Israel's orders in a bid to avert its downfall but to no avail.

He added that Americans, as opposed to Trump and top-brass military commanders, may have realized the upshot of the war, and their expectation of an uncertain and perilous future is more precise. This accounts for mass anti-war protest rallies across the United States.

"Even though Trump, egoistically and mistakenly, initiated a military aggression against Iran along with the child-killing Zionist regime, he well knows that he will eventually be faced with the heroic and seasoned Iranian nation and its Armed Forces. This is why he has resorted to other world leaders to end the war."

The United States and Israel launched a large-scale and unprovoked onslaught against Iran on February 28, assassinating the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and several high-ranking military commanders despite indirect Tehran-Washington negotiations on Iran's peaceful nuclear program.

In response, Iranian Armed Forces have carried out waves of retaliatory missile and drone operations against US interests across West Asia and Israeli positions in the occupied territories.
