At least three civilians, including a teenager, have been killed by Israeli fire in various areas across the besieged Gaza Strip as the regime continues its near-daily violations of a ceasefire agreement with Palestinian resistance factions.
Medics reported that the dead included a 15-year-old boy. Alaa al-Din Muhammad Zuhair Asraf was killed by Israeli fire on Sunday in the Jorat al-Lut area, south of Khan Yunis.
Abdulrahman Abdel-Hadi Al-Qann, a 32-year-old fisherman, was killed after Israeli naval forces shot him in the head while sailing in the city's coastal waters. Another fisherman was also wounded in the incident.
Meanwhile, Fadi Najib Salah was killed by Israeli army gunfire in the al-Mawasi area to the west of Khan Yunis, and his body was taken to Nasser Hospital in the southern Gaza Strip.
Earlier on Saturday, the Palestinian Information Center reported that Israeli forces killed a 27-year-old man near a bus stop in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City. The center also said Israeli forces shot and wounded another Palestinian in the stomach near Nasser Hospital, west of Khan Yunis.
A 45-year-old woman was shot and killed by Israeli gunfire in Beit Lahia, in the northwest of the besieged strip. Her body was transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.
Earlier in the day, medical sources confirmed that an 11-year-old Palestinian girl was killed by Israeli fire in Beit Lahia.
Since the ceasefire agreement came into effect, Israeli forces have committed hundreds of violations, resulting in the killing of at least 420 Palestinians and the injury of about 1,200 others.
The truce agreement followed Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, which began on October 7, 2023, and lasted more than two years.
The genocide has left more than 71,000 Palestinians killed, over 171,000 wounded, and caused widespread destruction, with approximately 90 percent of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure damaged.
The United Nations has estimated reconstruction costs at around $70 billion.
