Sudan’s healthcare system nears collapse amid conflict

Months of conflict in Sudan have pushed the country’s healthcare system to the brink of collapse.

Hospitals are understaffed, while they lack sufficient medicines and medical supplies to cope with growing numbers of patients. Doctors are now calling for international assistance to help revive the system.
