A senior advisor to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has strongly condemned fresh US threats of military strike against the country, vowing a crushing response to any possible aggression.
Admiral Ali Shamkhani stated in a social media post on Monday that, under Iran’s defense doctrine, responses to threats are planned before those threats materialize.
He stressed that the country’s missile and defense capabilities are not containable or permission-based.
Shamkhani then warned that any aggression against Iran will face an immediate harsh response beyond its planners’ imagination.

Trump: US would back Israeli strikes against Iran
His remarks came after US President Donald Trump said that he would support an attack by Israel on Iran if Tehran continued its ballistic missile and nuclear programs.
Trump was speaking to reporters ahead of his meeting with Israel’s prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.
“Now I hear that Iran is trying to build up again, and if they are, we’re going to have to knock them down,” Trump told reporters. “We’ll knock them down. We’ll knock the hell out of them. But hopefully that’s not happening.”
“ If we didn’t beat Iran, you wouldn’t have had peace in the Middle East,” Trump asserted at one point.
Back in June, Trump directly supported Israel’s aggression against Iran while Tehran was holding talks with Washington on its peaceful nuclear program.
The US also conducted illegal strikes on Iran's nuclear sites, which are protected under the Safeguards Agreement of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Meanwhile, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said in a statement on Monday that enemies are seeking to sow the seeds of sedition within the Iranian society through cognitive warfare, psychological operations, falsified narratives, fear-mongering, and encouragement of capitulation to them.
The IRGC characterized the 12-day Israeli-US war of aggression against Iran in June as an outstanding example of a hybrid threat that had broad security, psychological, and economic dimensions much beyond a military confrontation.
It warned against any attempts to undermine public trust, noting that any such action is in line with the objectives of arrogant global powers, led by the United States and Israel.
The IRGC warned enemies against any miscalculation, emphasizing that it mightily will guard Iran’s independence, security, dignity, and authority against any act of sedition, cognitive warfare, security threat, and territorial aggression.
