Iraq marks 8th anniversary of victory over Daesh terrorists

Iraq celebrated the 8th anniversary of its costly victory over the Daesh terror group, a victory that could become possible with immense sacrifices, and national unity.
The takfiri group lost virtually all the territory it once held, thanks to the joint anti-terror operation by the Iraqi military and volunteer forces known as the Popular Mobilization Unit also known as Hashd al-Sha’abi.
