Gaza civilian death

The Israeli regime continues its genocidal campaign in Gaza while occupying more parts of the besieged territory. At least 51 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli strikes since Tuesday morning. At least 18 aid seekers were shot dead in Central Gaza. According to Al-Awda Hospital, 3 Gazans were killed during the Israeli shelling of the Nuseirat refugee camp, and many others were injured. Gaza ceasefire talks

Qatar says it is set to hold talks with represetatives of Hamas, Egypt and Turkey to discuss Washington’s proposed ceasefire plan for Gaza. The announcement follows Hamas’s confirmation that it has received the full proposal and intends to review it responsibly. The US plan calls for an immediate ceasefire and the release of the Israeli captives held by Hamas within 72 hours. While the US seeks to position itself as a peacemaker, President Trump has issued a stark warning that Hamas has “three or four days” to respond, and if the group rejects the deal, Israel will “do what it must.”

Iran nuclear program

Foreign minister Araghchi slams the European Troika for its push to reinstate the UN sanctions against Iran, despite constructive and balanced proposals he offered to the E three during his trip to New York. Speaking with American news channel CNN, Araghchi doubled down on Tehran’s position that it has never sought to develop nuclear weapons. He pointed to Iran’s commitment to the 2015 nuclear deal, saying the Islamic Republic has implemented the deal with goodwill. Araghchi also blamed Washington for its unjustified withdrawal from the accord. He added that despite this, Tehran actively participated in five rounds of negotiations with Washington in May and June. However, he said, Iran came under US-Israeli attacks when it was set to participate in the sixth round of talks. Araghchi reiterated Iran’s right to uranium enrichment, stressing that Tehran continues to act within international law. He also emphasized Tehran’s openness to dialog over its nuclear program.
