Spaniards in Madrid mark 77th anniversary of Nakba

Spain’s capital, Madrid, has once again become the scene of a big protest in solidarity with the Palestinian people. This latest rally was held on the 77th anniversary of the Nakba, a tragic event in Palestinian history when hundreds of thousands of people were forcibly expelled from their ancestral land by Israelis on May 15, 1948.
The demonstration denounced not only a historic tragedy, but an ongoing ethnic cleansing under Israeli colonial policies.
