Gaza genocide

We begin this bulletin with the latest updates from Gaza where intense Israeli attacks continue for nearly four months now. At least 100 people have been killed overnight across the Palestinian territory. There were fresh air and artillery attacks around Khan Yunis. That’s Gaza's main southern city which has recently been a focal point of Israeli strikes. Medical facilities in Khan Yunis have been affected as well. Al-Amal and Nasser hospitals have been under an Israeli siege for more than a week. Now, the United Nations is warning of a serious shortage of oxygen at the two medical centers. After Khan Yunis, the city of Rafah will be the next target of the Israeli ground attacks. That’s according to the regime’s military. Rafah is located in southern Gaza and hosts hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians. Over 27,000 people have already been killed in Gaza since the war began.

Israel Syria attack

Syria says the Israeli regime has fired missiles on south of the capital Damascus. The Syrian military says it downed a number of the Israeli missiles that were launched from the occupied Golan Heights. Local media reported damage from the Israeli airstrikes, but did not mention any casualties. The Israeli regime has been conducting airstrikes on Syria over the past several years. The attacks have continued despite Syria’s strong protests at the UN. Damascus says the Israeli acts of aggression violate Syria’s sovereignty.

Iran ‘decisive’ response

Iran’s President Ebrahim Raeisi warns of a strong response to any possible bullying against his country. Raeisi said, the enemies used to resort to the language of threat against Iran, and even said a military option was on the table. But now, he added, the enemies say they’re not seeking a confrontation with the Islamic Republic. Raeisi said, Iran’s military might poses no threat to the West Asia region, adding that regional countries can rely on the Islamic Republic’s military power. In recent days, the US has spoken of a response to an attack that killed three of its soldiers in Jordan at the weekend. Washington has blamed Iran-back resistance groups for the attack. Iran has denied any involvement, saying the groups act independently in the region.
