Iran terror attack

Iranians across the country have taken to the streets to condemn the Wednesday terrorist attack in Kerman that killed more than 80 people, most of them women and children. Thousands of demonstrators in the northeastern city of Mashhad denounced the recent terrorist attack. In the central city of Arak people waved Iranian flags voicing solidarity with the people in Kerman where the twin blasts occurred. Also in Bojnourd and Shiraz, ralliers deplored the deadly incident in Kerman and vowed support for the top counter-terror commander General Soleimani whose fourth assassination anniversary was the scene of the recent terrorist attack. Earlier in the day, thousands of mourners gathered in Kerman's Imam Ali Mausoleum where the funeral procession of the Wednesday victims was held. Iranian president Ebrahim Raeisi was also in attendance and addressed the event.

Gaza genocide raging

The death toll from the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza continues to mount. At least 162 Palestinians have been killed in recent attacks. The Israeli military launched an air, land and sea campaign bounding over 100 targets over the past 24-hours. Al Maghazi and Bureij refugee camps have also been targeted by Israeli gun boats as Palestinian resistant fighters confront the invading forces. Rafah and Khan Younis areas have also been relentlessly targeted, even though these areas were previously designated as safe by Israel. Some of those injured have been transferred to the few hospitals that are still functioning. The Israeli genocidal war on Gaza has so far claimed the lives of over 22,600 Palestinians. And those that have not been killed are facing what the UN has called a catastrophic humanitarian situation.

Hezbollah supporting Gaza

The leader of Lebanon’s resistance movement, Hezbollah, says no Israeli military post in the north of the occupied territories has been spared from the group’s strikes. Nasrallah said the group has forced Israeli soldiers to evacuate many posts near Lebanon and the rest are, in his words, hiding like rats. He also said the regime is censoring the number of its casualties to avoid boosting the morale of the resistance fighters. Nasrallah also reiterated that the assassination of a senior leader of the Hamas resistance movement in Beirut will not go unpunished.
