Israeli genocide in Gaza

Beginning with the dire situation in the Gaza Strip where the Israeli regime is transforming every street into scenes of bloodshed, as it is relentlessly pressing ahead with its bloodiest onslaught against innocent women and children. The most recent series of Israeli airstrikes have killed 40 Palestinians. Among the latest targets were the al Barij refugee camp in Gaza and a UN-operated school in the northern city of Beit Lahia. The regime also targeted several hospitals where people were seeking refuge. Palestinians complain Israel is conducting airstrikes indiscriminately all across the blockaded territory. The death toll in Gaza is now near 11200, with more than 8000 women and children falling victim to the regime’s relentless raids. Hundreds are also buried beneath the debris of buildings ravaged by bombings. Meanwhile, the Israeli regime is waging its ground operations. Intense clashes have been reported in the vicinity of Gaza City. The Quds Brigades of the Islamic Jihad resistance movement says it's targeted Israeli troops and vehicles south of the city. The regime says 44 of its soldiers have been killed in the ground invasion that began two weeks ago.

Gaza fuel crisis

The dire humanitarian crisis in Gaza is about to get worse. The UN agency for Palestinian Refugees says its fuel depot is now empty, warning further shutdowns in the next 48 hours. The UNRWA chief says the UN body will no longer be able to supply hospitals, remove sewage and provide drinking water from November 15. The UN agency is currently sheltering nearly 800,000 people, about half of the total population of Gaza. UNRWA's fuel was also used to remove hundreds of tons of solid waste from increasingly overcrowded camps in Gaza. The lack of fuel is said to cause a health and environmental disaster. Israel's military has so far refused imports of fuel into Gaza, saying they could be used by Hamas for military purposes.

Condemning Israeli genocide

People around the world continue to hit the streets to show solidarity with the Palestinians and demand an end to the Israeli bloodshed in the Gaza Strip. Hundreds of people attended a rally in Australia’s biggest city of Sydney. They denounced Israel’s actions in Gaza, waved Palestinian flags and chanted slogans such as Palestine will never die. Spaniards packed an underground station in Barcelona, demanding Israel halt its military action in the Palestinian territory. In Ireland’s capital Dublin, protestors urged their government to expel the Israeli ambassador. South Africans held new rally in Cape Town. They also demanded the expulsion of Israel's envoy and the closure of its embassy. Similar rallies also held in the capitals of France, Germany, Belgium and Britain where people condemned Israel's brutal attacks on Gaza. In London, over 300,000 people marched toward the US embassy, calling for an end to the war on Gaza.
