Half of residents in Chicago exposed to rampant gun violence: Study

A recent study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association has revealed that half of Chicago's residents have been exposed to gun violence at least once, with African Americans and Hispanics being more vulnerable. 

The study also found that 56% of African American and Hispanic participants had experienced gun violence before the age of 40, compared to just 25% of white participants.
