Hezbollah chief calls for Lebanese govt. that includes all parties

In his speech on Friday, Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said the resistance movement would reject a single-party government and instead called for a cabinet representing the main political parties.
Sayyed Nasrallah also called for the speeding up of the government formation to rescue the country from its dire socio-economic crisis.
Sayyed Nasrallah once again criticized Sa'ad Hariri’s decision to resign as prime minister, saying it made the situation worse. He said the resignation disrupted processes needed to carry out reforms.
In the meantime, President Michel Aoun called for binding parliamentary consultations to be held Monday to designate a new prime minister.
Political analysts tell Press TV the political vacuum in Lebanon poses a serious threat to the country.
Talks between Lebanon’s main parties have stalled since Sa'ad al-Hariri resigned as prime minister in late October amid widespread protests against the ruling elite in Lebanon.
In his speech, Sayyed Nasrallah reiterated the need for all parties to cooperate with one another in order to properly save the country. He also praised the Lebanese people for their patience during these difficult times and called on citizens to unite.
