The 13th of Bahman gains meaning in the context of the Fajr decade, or Dahe Fajr.

Although Imam Khomeini's return occurred on the 12th of Bahman, 1979, the 13th of Bahman was one of the days after which the revolutionary movement gained momentum and the foundations of the previous regime became increasingly weak, a dictatorial regime which moved at warp speed joining the dustbin of history.
