Iran win AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup 2025, defend title

Iran win championship of AFC Beach Soccer Asian Cup, March 30, 2025, Pattaya, Thailand.

Iran overpower other teams, becoming the winner of Thailand's 2025 Beach Soccer Asian Cup and defending its title.

With a decisive 8-1 victory over Oman on Sunday, Iran secured its first place title in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) tournament.

Iran has now become the only team in AFC to win four competition titles.

Japan's 3-1 win against Saudi Arabia placed the teams in the 3rd and 4th places, respectively..

Iran defeated Saudi Arabia 6-0 in the semi-final on Saturday.

Ali Mirshekari, 28, won the "MVP" and "Top Scorer" awards for Iran.

Also, the Iranian team's forward player Ali Mirshekari, 28, won both the Most Valuable Player (MVP) and "Top Scorer" awards.

Iran's Seyedmahdi Mirjalili, 25, won the "Best Goalkeeper" prize in the AFC competition.
