Chris Williamson is a lifelong socialist, trade unionist, anti-imperialist and animal rights campaigner.

He has been a Labour Councillor, Council Leader, Member of Parliament and a Shadow Minister under Ed Miliband and Jeremy Corbyn.

He was first elected to the British Parliament in 2010 until 2015, and again from 2017 to 2019, when he was Jeremy Corbyn’s most vocal supporter in the Parliamentary Labour Party.
