Bernat Lautaro is a Chilean-Catalan journalist who grew up in Catalonia amid the popular movements for the right to housing. Since 2022, he has been working as an audiovisual journalist in Latin America. His committed reporting combines political education on social media with work for international news agencies, including live broadcasts, video, and photography. Since January 2026, he has been a regular contributor to Press TV.

He is committed to reporting from the perspective of the emancipation of the peoples of the Global South, viewing independent journalism as a tool for the world's forgotten people. He always delves into the deepest recesses of every story, explaining the most complex aspects of each situation from the perspective of those directly involved.
He holds an academic and activist background in political science, international relations, film studies, and anthropology.
