Roya Pour Bagher is a journalist, news writer, and program presenter with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Ewha Womans University in South Korea. Of half-Iranian, half-Lebanese heritage, she knows five languages: English, Arabic, Persian, German, and Korean, and leverages this cultural and linguistic fluency to bridge narratives across borders.

Driven by the mainstream media’s misrepresentation of West Asia, she entered journalism to challenge distortions and uphold truthful reporting. The genocide in Gaza has further solidified her resolve to amplify marginalized voices and hold power to account—working as both a writer for various media outlets and a presenter to ensure stories are told with integrity. Roya is a free spirit who finds joy in the simple pleasures of life—journaling her thoughts, exploring new places, and savoring an iced latte. She thrives on the blend of adventure and introspection.
