Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States, have formed a new military alliance called AUKUS, under the pretext of boosting security and stability in the Indo-Pacific.

The US and UK announced this week that they will provide Australia with advanced technology to build nuclear powered submarines.

After nearly 20 years of deployment, with the second largest contingent of troops after the United States, Germany has evacuated its forces from Afghanistan, calling the withdrawal “the end of a historic chapter”, with the coalition of the willing no longer willing and pulling out its forces one by one.
