Iranian people standing up to aggression, pressure campaign will fail: Analyst

Writer and Political Commentator, Henry Hakamaki says Iranian people’s participation in National Day of Fighting Global Arrogance is crucial when a country faces external pressure, arguing that sanctions, military threats, and other forms of coercion are intended to weaken public support for governments.

He says large public demonstrations send a message that such pressure campaigns have failed to undermine national unity.

Referring to Iran's national day of fight against global arrogance, Hakamaki argues that the concept reflects a historical pattern of foreign interference, citing Washington's involvement in Iran's affairs since the 1953 coup. He says ongoing sanctions, support for anti-Iran groups, and military pressure are examples of policies designed to preserve US global dominance.

According to the analyst, there is no guarantee that any country can maintain its full sovereignty as long as the United States thinks it is the dominant global power. He maintains that protecting national independence ultimately depends on Iran's own ability to deter threats and defend its sovereignty against foreign pressure.
