Two Palestinians have been killed, including a teacher, in separate Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, as the regime’s forces continue to violate the 2025 ceasefire agreement.

A Palestinian identified as Diaa Abu al-Rous was killed early Saturday when an Israeli drone struck an area north of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, according to medical sources.

Abu al-Rous was a teacher at the Malaysian School in Gaza and was on his way to work when the Israeli drone struck him.

The Palestinian Ministry of Education condemned his killing, describing it as an attack on the education community and warning of the continued dangers facing teachers and other educational personnel in Gaza.

Another Palestinian, Arafat al-Arair, died from injuries sustained several days earlier in an Israeli strike on a vehicle in Gaza City's Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, Al-Shifa Hospital confirmed.

Israeli forces also shelled several areas, including Beit Lahia, Gaza City, Khan Younis and Deir al-Balah, while Israeli warships fired toward the Gaza City coastline.

In eastern Gaza City, Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire near the al-Sanafour intersection in the Tuffah neighborhood, while troops also fired toward displaced Palestinians' tents in southern Khan Younis.

Several tents in the al-Iqlimi and Bir 19 areas were struck, although no injuries were reported in those attacks.

Gaza's Health Ministry reported that Israeli violations of the ceasefire had killed 1,574 Palestinians and wounded another 5,687 by October 29, 2026.

Marking the first anniversary of the ceasefire announcement, the United Nations Human Rights Office (OHCHR) said Israeli attacks had never stopped killing and injuring Palestinians or causing repeated displacement across Gaza.

“Violence of this magnitude is outrageous at any time. To record it during a supposed ceasefire is simply unfathomable,” said Ajith Sunghay, head of OHCHR in the occupied Palestinian territory.

OHCHR also reported that Israel had continued expanding its military deployment areas, despite the ceasefire agreement, further restricting Palestinians' access to their homes and communities.

The office raised concerns over the shifting boundaries of the so-called Yellow Line, which has left Palestinians confined to an increasingly restricted area under Israeli military control.

A UN Commission of Inquiry report published on October 26 concluded that Israel continued committing genocidal acts in Gaza after the ceasefire, citing continued attacks and the expansion of its control over the territory.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, at least 74,570 Palestinians have been killed and 175,808 injured in Gaza since October 7, 2023, when Israel launched its genocidal assault on the territory.
