Iran’s top security official says the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, will bring pride to the Islamic Republic and lead to the defeat of its adversaries through his “complete oversight” and “wise leadership.”

Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), Major General Mohsen Rezaei, made the remark in a post on his X account on Friday.

He commended Ayatollah Khamenei’s complete oversight of the country’s various cultural, military, political, economic and social affairs.

He added that the Leader’s authoritative and wise leadership, along with his deep concern for addressing the problems facing the Iranian people, would be a source of pride for the country and help bring about the defeat of its enemies.

Leader puts premium on fulfillment of Iran’s conditions for ending war

Ayatollah Khamenei has placed a premium on the need to secure Iran’s conditions for ending the war and the state of “neither war nor peace.”

Rezaei’s post came few days after Ayatollah Khamenei said the SNSC and its secretariat act as a “crossroads of policymaking.”

During a Tuesday meeting with the SNSC secretary, the Leader underscored the interconnectedness of culture, politics, economy and security and said it was imperative that their mutual effects be accounted for in decision-making.
