Two Palestinians, including a girl, were killed and three others injured on Saturday morning in Israeli gunfire and shelling attacks targeting Gaza City and Beit Lahia.
Israeli drones fired a missile at a gathering of civilians on Saturday near Palestine Stadium in the al-Rimal neighborhood, west of Gaza City, killing a young man identified as Mohammed Annan al-Rawagh, medical sources told the WAFA news agency.
Fatima Abu Laban, a girl, was killed by Israeli gunfire in the Tal al-Dhahab area, northwest of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.
Israeli drones also wounded a woman in the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.
The regime’s artillery resumed shelling areas west of Rafah in the morning, firing from positions east of Khan Younis. At the same time, intense tank fire was happening east of the al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City.
The latest killings come amid continued Israeli attacks on Gaza despite a US-sponsored ceasefire that took effect on October 10, 2025. According to the United Nations, Israeli attacks have continued to kill and injure Palestinians and cause repeated displacement across the territory.
Violent killings are also happening in the occupied West Bank, where Palestinians face daily attacks by Israeli forces and settlers. Numerous raids have resulted in the abduction of Palestinians, as well as further killings and injuries.
The genocidal war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023, with Israeli forces since then carrying out attacks that have killed civilians and damaged or destroyed hospitals and cultural sites across the territory.
More than 75,000 Palestinians have been killed since the start of the Israeli aggression.
The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) reported that women and children accounted for 70 percent of Palestinians killed in residential buildings and similar housing.
