Thousands of students are expected to take to the streets of Vienna to protest a budget cut for universities of around 10 percent.
Protesters consider the budget insufficient to offset inflation and rising costs. The police estimate there will be around 20,000 participants, with students travelling in from other cities. It comes amid a wave of student-led protests across the world.
