The Greek capital Athens witnessed a massive demonstration in which thousands of students and teachers participated, protesting the shortage in the field of education and in solidarity with similar protests in France and Europe.
The demonstration was accompanied by riot police forces, while participants chanted slogans and called for improving education conditions and social justice.
According to available information, the protests in Athens took place with the participation of about five thousand people, including students who say they face the same problems as their French counterparts.
Other major Greek cities also witnessed similar protests, with the participation of about three thousand people each in Thessaloniki and Patras.
