Israeli settlers have abducted seven Palestinians and injured four more in assaults against farmers harvesting olives from their lands across the occupied West Bank.
Palestinian media reported on Saturday that the abductions took place in the villages of Nahalin, Beit Imrin, and Qaffin, located in the Bethlehem, Nablus, and Tulkarm governorates, respectively.
They added that violent settler attacks wounded four Palestinian farmers in the town of Beita in the Nablus governorate.
The al-Bidar human rights organization reported that Israeli settlers stole olive crops and harvesting equipment belonging to Palestinian farmers and released their livestock in Aboud village in the Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate.
Additionally, the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission reported at least 12 settler attacks in different parts of the occupied West Bank on Saturday.
More than 45,000 trees were cut down or damaged in the West Bank in the first half of 2026, including over 26,000 olive trees, it noted.
At least 19 settler attacks were recorded on Friday by the Palestinian Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission.
A Palestinian was killed on Wednesday during an Israeli settler attack while Palestinians were harvesting olives near the village of Burqa in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, the Palestinian health ministry said.
Escorted by the occupation forces, Israeli settlers have increased their attacks against Palestinian farmers since the olive harvest season began in early October.
The assaults involved abducting and beating Palestinians, forcing them off their lands, stealing their crops, and uprooting their trees.
Yesh Din, an Israeli rights group, says it documented 109 incidents of violence directly related to the harvest in 75 Palestinian communities between September 27 and October 6, an average of 11 per day.
