‘Gaza facing genocide in slow motion as US gives Israel blank check’: Analyst

Journalist and political analyst John Bosnitch touches on the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza, describing Israel’s ongoing military campaign as a “genocide in slow motion.”

Citing reports by Médecins Sans Frontières, Bosnitch argued that attacks on hospitals and the systematic disruption of access to food, water and medicine constitute an ongoing pattern of violations, while international condemnation has failed to produce meaningful action.

In an interview with Press TV on Tuesday, Bosnitch stated that the confinement of Palestinians to increasingly smaller areas, alongside the destruction of civilian infrastructure, amounts to a broader attempt to displace Gaza’s population and reshape the territory’s future.

Addressing the mounting Palestinian death toll and destruction across the besieged enclave, Bosnisch said the scale and persistence of Israeli attacks point to a deliberate effort to make Gaza uninhabitable

Bosnisch also links the Israeli regime’s actions to wider strategic and economic interests in Gaza, including control over the territory and its potential energy resources, suggesting that the aggression should therefore be viewed not only through the lens of military operations but also as part of efforts to secure long-term control over Palestinian land and resources.
