A Palestinian anti-settlement commission says Israeli military forces and settlers have perpetrated 62,916 assaults targeting Palestinians, their land and possessions throughout the occupied West Bank, including East al-Quds, since the onset of the genocidal war on Gaza on October 7, 2023.

The Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission reported on Sunday that Israeli troops were accountable for 48,174 attacks, while settlers conducted another 14,742 assaults.

Al-Khalil recorded the highest number with 10,840 assaults, followed by Ramallah and al-Bireh at 10,594, and Nablus at 10,261.

According to the report, settler attacks resulted in the martyrdom of 66 Palestinians during the mentioned period.

The commission further recorded 1,182 arson attacks on Palestinian land and property, alongside the uprooting or damage of 147,111 trees, including more than 100,000 olive trees.

Israeli settlers sought to create 211 new pastoral outposts, with violent attacks affecting 376 Palestinian villages and communities.

According to the report, Israeli authorities conducted 1,814 demolitions that impacted 5,059 structures, including 1,894 inhabited residential buildings.

Approximately 64,200 dunams, equivalent to 15,864 acres, of Palestinian territory were appropriated via military directives and official designations, with the commission characterizing the confiscation rate as unprecedented in the last thirty years.

The report further noted that 415 plans for unauthorized Israeli settlements, including tens of thousands of settler units, were advanced in the occupied West Bank and East al-Quds.

Israeli authorities issued 97 tenders for 15,760 additional settler units, including in the controversial “E1” neighborhood east of al-Quds.

The commission said these measures were progressively supported by legislation aimed at imposing “de facto annexation” and called for international intervention to stop unlawful settlement expansion and ensure accountability for those involved.

According to official Palestinian data, approximately 750,000 Israeli settlers live throughout the West Bank, including occupied East al-Quds, and reside in 194 illegal settlements and 400 unauthorized outposts.

In June, 14 UN special rapporteurs warned that the sharp rise in “settler terrorism,” with support and complicity from Israeli officials in the occupied Palestinian territory, posed an existential threat to Palestinian communities.
