Iran’s foreign minister Araghchi says Tehran is serious about both defending itself and pursuing diplomacy. He, however, warns that Iran will respond more forcefully to any renewed aggression. Stating that the United States failed to isolate Islamic Republic of Iran in the UN General Assembly, Araghchi said new U.S. sanctions and military pressure won’t yield any results. Also Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf said the Strait of Hormuz will not reopen unless Iran conditions are met based on Islamabad MOU.
