Austrians protest hijab ban

With the new school year, which started in early September in Austria, a law banning headscarves in schools for girls under 14 has taken effect.
It directly targets Muslims. On Thursday evening, a coalition of political groups, Muslims and teachers’ organizations staged a demonstration against the hijab ban.
