Pakistan and China secure strategic trade corridors via new border mechanism

Pakistan and China have officially put their Boundary Joint Commission into operation.

Senior officials from the two sides met in Islamabad on Wednesday to formalize the mechanism aimed at improving border management and boosting regional trade. The ultimate goal is to secure supply chains and strengthen the geopolitical stability of the multi-billion-dollar economic corridor between the two countries.
