President Masoud Pezeshkian has praised the Iranian people’s steadfastness in the face of mounting pressure and all-out US-Israeli aggression, reaffirming his support for the country’s armed forces in defending the homeland.

In a message marking the 200th consecutive night of nationwide rallies in support of Iran’s armed forces, Pezeshkian said Iran belongs to all its people and that preserving the country’s dignity is a shared responsibility that transcends political affiliations and institutions.

“The government stands alongside the armed forces and supports their efforts to defend the country, while standing with the same determination alongside all the people of Iran,” Pezeshkian stated.

The president said those who confronted the enemy on the battlefield and those who advanced Iran’s interests through diplomacy and dialogue were pursuing the same goal of safeguarding the country’s strength and standing.

“The enemies of this land are targeting the unity and cohesion of our people, and our response must be to preserve our bonds, strengthen our solidarity and stand together,” he added.

Earlier in the day, officials from the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and the Army described the 200 consecutive nights of rallies in support of the country’s armed forces as the ultimate deterrent against the United States and Israel.

The nightly rallies began in the immediate aftermath of the joint US-Israeli aggression against Iran on February 28.

These nightly vigils have been serving as a show of public support for Iran’s Armed Forces, with crowds regularly chanting in solidarity with Army and IRGC forces serving on the front lines.
