The commander of the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) says Iran’s enemies are “bewildered and astonished” at the sheer extent of public support the Iranian nation has shown for the armed forces.
Brigadier General Majid Mousavi made the remarks in a message on Tuesday on the eve of the 200th day of nationwide demonstrations in support of the armed forces’ defensive and retaliatory maneuvers in the face of foreign aggression.

“Today, the enemies acknowledge your greatness, while the friends of free-thinking peoples around the world, heartened by this display of dignity, have become hopeful for the ultimate triumph of truth over oppression and arrogance,” he wrote.
He called on Iranians to preserve the “grandeur and magnificence” of their street presence through “sacred unity and cohesion on all fronts.”
The commander described the passionate public support as a manifestation of the people’s commitment to their religious and national duty.
He noted that, by taking to the streets, the demonstrators have been honoring the directives of Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, while urging the armed forces to avenge the blood of the assassinated Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, who was martyred on the first day of the latest unprovoked American-Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic.
‘Public shows of force have drawn global attention’
Mousavi said the public demonstrations, which he described as having continued in defense of Iran’s “identity, independence, and very existence,” have demonstrated “a high level of national rationality, lofty religious values, and an outstanding national culture and civilization.”
The public shows of force, he added, have portrayed before other nations “the superior image of a great and magnificent people.”
‘Armed forces determined to defend nation, avenge martyred Leader’
Mousavi reiterated that the popular presence has served as a reliable and heartening source of support for the armed forces, including the IRGC Aerospace Force’s servicemen.
