August 19th marks the anniversary of a US-led coup in 1953 that overthrew Iran’s then Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh.
The coup is among the list of Washington’s hostile acts against the Iranian nation. Decades of sanctions and the 40-day war this year are examples of such animosity. Despite the hostility, Iranians remain steadfast and loyal to the ideals of the Islamic Revolution.
