73% of Israelis dissatisfied with Netanyahu’s cabinet: Poll
An opinion poll has revealed a dramatic decline in public trust in Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet, which has been in power since December 2022, and almost three-quarters of settlers are dissatisfied with his handling of the state of affairs.
A survey by the Institute for National Security Studies, a Tel Aviv-based research institution, showed that 73% of Israelis have lost trust in Netanyahu's coalition cabinet, while only 25 percent of respondents have complete trust in it.
It found that 65 percent of those surveyed believe that decisions taken by Israeli authorities are not primarily based on security considerations, whereas 39 percent of Israelis had opposite viewpoint.
According to the poll, 48% of the respondents opposed the US-Israeli war of aggression against Iran, while only 42% supported such a military action.
Back in November 2024, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and his former minister of military affairs Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the coastal region.
Despite a ceasefire that took effect on October 10, 2025, the Israeli military has continued its daily attacks in Gaza, killing at least 1,250 Palestinians and injuring 4,110 others.
The ceasefire agreement was reached after two years of genocide launched by Israel on October 7, 2023.
The onslaught has caused widespread destruction, affecting 90% of civilian infrastructure.
According to UN estimates, reconstruction costs stand at around $70 billion.
