Saudi Arabia playing in hands of Zionists and US, causing regional conflict: Author

Academic, Researcher and Author, Reza Vedadi says the US-Saudi strikes on Iraq fit into a broader American strategy to weaken resistance groups and maintain regional dominance.

He argues that Washington is pressuring Baghdad to dismantle forces that once defended the country against Daesh. He believes the attack aims to reignite internal divisions in Iraq and strengthen US‑Israeli interests, with Saudi Arabia acting under American direction.

Vedadi warns that, given the high casualties and surprise nature of the strikes, retaliation from Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) or regional allies remains likely, even as Iraq’s leadership seeks to balance ties with Washington, Tehran, and Riyadh.
