Israeli forces kill nine Palestinians in Gaza amid ongoing ceasefire violations
Israeli forces have killed nine more Palestinians in Gaza over the past 24 hours in the latest ceasefire violations, raising the death toll since October 2023 to 73,326.
In a statement released on Sunday, the Gaza Health Ministry said hospitals received the bodies of nine people, including seven newly killed and two who later died of wounds sustained in previous Israeli attacks. It reported that 36 injured people were also admitted to hospitals during the same period.
The ministry noted that many victims remain trapped beneath the rubble or stranded in the streets, with ambulance and civil defense crews unable to reach them due to ongoing access restrictions imposed by the Israeli occupation regime.
Since the ceasefire that took effect on October 10, 2025, the Israeli occupation regime has killed at least 1,200 Palestinians and wounded 3,888 others in Gaza. More than 803 bodies have also been recovered from under the rubble during this period.
Since launching its genocidal war on October 7, 2023, Israel has martyred at least 73,326 Palestinians and injured over 173,997 others in the blockaded territory. Nearly 90% of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed.
Despite the supposed ceasefire, Israel continues its genocidal campaign and is openly planning to occupy and control around 70% of the Gaza Strip while forcibly confining the remaining population of nearly two million Palestinians to just 30% of their land.
Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers stormed the occupied West Bank city of Nablus in the early hours and detained about 40 Palestinians, including a woman and former prisoners.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has called for urgent international action to stop the ongoing Israeli aggression and Israeli settler violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, including East al-Quds.
Since October 2023, the occupied West Bank has experienced a sharp rise in assaults by the Israeli army and settlers. Official Palestinian statistics indicate that these attacks have resulted in the deaths of 1,200 Palestinians, nearly 13,000 injuries, and the abduction of approximately 24,000 Palestinians.
