Hamburg marks second anniversary of mosque bans

July 24 marks the second anniversary of the ban on Imam Ali Mosque in the Northern German city of Hamburg.
On this day, two years ago, several mosques and religious centers belonging to the Shia community were raided and closed throughout Germany. Muslims mark the anniversary with public prayers and protests over the weekend.
