American Tomahawk missile intercepted and destroyed over Kahnuj in Kerman

The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) air defense units have successfully intercepted and destroyed a US Tomahawk cruise missile in the skies over Kahnuj County in Kerman Province, underscoring Iran’s resolute defense of its airspace against American aggression.

According to the IRGC commander of Kahnuj County, one Tomahawk missile belonging to US forces was detected, tracked, and neutralized by the local IRGC air defense team before it could threaten residential areas or sensitive security zones.

The operation was conducted as part of the continuous monitoring of the Islamic Republic’s airspace and executed through the timely and precise response of missile units stationed in the region.

The hostile projectile was struck and completely destroyed prior to any penetration of populated areas or strategically important sites.

The incident highlights the high state of readiness and operational capability of Iran’s defensive forces in safeguarding national sovereignty.

Iranian military officials have repeatedly affirmed that the country’s armed forces remain fully prepared to confront and defeat any act of aggression against the territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic.

Iran’s Army warns to adopt ‘new scenarios’ if US aggression persists

The Islamic Republic of Iran Army warns that it will adopt “new scenarios” if the United States continues its criminal aggression.

For twelve consecutive nights, the US military has conducted waves of deadly aerial assaults on Iran, committing war crimes by targeting civilian sites.

In response, Iranian armed forces have launched heavy reprisal attacks against strategic American targets across West Asia.

The United States and the Israeli regime waged their illegal war of aggression against Iran on February 28. However, forty days later, on April 8, the enemies were forced to accept a ceasefire amid Iran’s brave resistance, successful retaliatory operations, and powerful grip on the Strait of Hormuz.

On June 17, Tehran and Washington signed the Pakistan-brokered Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at ending all hostilities and preparing for further negotiations. However, Washington violated all provisions of the understanding.
