There is no possibility for US ground invasion of Iran: Journalist

Podcaster and journalist Asha Krishnaswamy says that Washington’s core objective toward Iran has never been about nuclear weapons.

In her view, the real American concern is Iran’s ability to challenge US hegemony in the Persian Gulf, undermine the influence of what she describes as US‑aligned “puppet states,” and inspire resistance movements across the region.

Krishnaswamy strongly rejects the idea of a US ground invasion, calling it strategically impossible. She notes that no viable entry point exists—neither Afghanistan nor Azerbaijan nor the Strait of Hormuz—because Iran would detect and repel any attempt. She added that Iran’s size, history, and military capability make it incomparable to countries previously targeted by the US.
