Activists in Germany slam government’s crackdown on Palestine supporters

Since 7 October 2023, many European states have seen an unprecedented rise in repression of pro-Palestinian activism.
The worst forms of undermining the freedom of expression have been witnessed in Germany. For many months, demonstrations have been banned, pro-Palestinian organizations declared unlawful, and activists charged for opposing the genocide. Our correspondent, Dieter Reinisch, reports from Frankfurt.
