US sending more aerial equipment to Israel amid renewed aggression on Iran
The United States has been dispatching additional warplanes and refueling tankers to areas under the control of the Israeli regime amid its ongoing war of aggression against Iran, according to reports published in Israeli media.
Ynet reported on Sunday that additional fighter jets and refueling aircraft were being sent to the Israeli regime by the US, claiming that Washington is planning to escalate its aggression against Iran.
The report said that the Israeli regime’s military had also confirmed that dozens of additional US aerial refueling aircraft will be dispatched and stationed at Israeli bases.
It claimed that Washington is desperately seeking to respond to an Iranian retaliatory attack earlier this week that killed two US service members and left one unaccounted for.
It said the arrival of the aerial refueling equipment and travel warnings issued by the US for countries in the region may point to a return to the full-scale war that erupted between the US and the Israeli regime on one side and Iran on the other in late February and lasted for over a month.
However, Ynet claimed that the Israeli regime may initially remain outside any renewed full-scale US aggression on Iran.
That comes as the Wall Street Journal also reported on Sunday that the US had sent F-16 fighter jets from Spangdahlem Air Base in Germany to areas controlled by the Israeli regime.
The reports come more than a week after the US started a new wave of aerial bombardments of Iran’s southern coastal region, violating an agreement it had signed with Iran last month to permanently end the aggression on the country.
Iran has responded fiercely to the attack by targeting US bases and military assets in regional countries.
