Healthcare workers urge UK college to speak out on detained Gaza doctor

Healthcare workers and campaigners have gathered in central London calling on Britain’s leading pediatric body to publicly demand the release of detained Palestinian doctor Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya.
Demonstrators handed over a petition urging the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health to condemn the Israeli detention of medical workers in Gaza, saying the profession has a duty to defend its colleagues.
