At least three Palestinians have been killed and several others were injured when an Israeli unmanned aerial vehicle targeted a residential neighborhood in Gaza City, marking a new breach of the ceasefire that has been in effect since October 2025.

The official Palestinian WAFA news agency, citing local sources, reported that the drone targeted a group of people in the Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood near the Dar al-Arqam School on Wednesday afternoon.

WAFA added that at least one of the wounded was in critical condition.

Earlier in the day, a Palestinian was killed in an Israeli drone strike on central Gaza City.

Mohammed Naim Jundiya lost his life when an Israeli drone targeted him near Municipal Park on Omar al-Mukhtar Street, according to a medical source.

Witnesses reported that Jundiya was hit while walking on Omar al-Mukhtar Street, which is one of the city’s main thoroughfares, and that several vehicles were damaged as a result of the strike.

According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, Israeli acts of aggression have led to the deaths of 1,053 Palestinians and left 3,406 others injured, as of Tuesday.

The ministry also reported that more than 73,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 173,000 other individuals injured since the onset of Israel's genocidal war against Gaza on October 8, 2023, with nearly 90% of the region’s civilian infrastructure in ruins.
