The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas has expressed gratitude over the latest Iranian missile strikes against the Israeli regime in defense of the Lebanese people and the Axis of Resistance.

In a statement released on Monday, Hamas declared that halting Israeli aggression against regional Muslim nations must now become a top priority.

“In light of the Zionist occupation’s ongoing crimes and aggression against our people in Gaza, the West Bank, and occupied al-Quds, as well as against the brotherly Lebanese people, stopping this Zionist aggression and its crimes has become an urgent priority,” the statement read.

Hamas stressed that “it has now become clear that the Zionist entity’s unchecked aggressive behavior is the source of all tensions in the region.”

The Palestinian resistance movement emphasized that Israel’s constant aggressive policies represent a permanent threat to the security and stability of the entire region.

It further warned of the serious repercussions of Israeli actions on the international stage.

Hamas called on Muslim countries to form a united front to confront Israeli aggression and plots across West Asia.

“The Zionist aggression against Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran does not target these parties alone; rather, it constitutes an assault on the entire Muslim world and its resources,” the statement said.

Hamas added that this requires “all components of the Ummah to stand as one in the face of these ongoing assaults and to strengthen all forms of solidarity and support that contribute to deterring the occupation and curbing its escalating aggression.”

The movement also pointed out that Israel has repeatedly proven, through its breaches of commitments, that it does not abide by any agreements.

“The occupation has proven — through its ongoing aggression against Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran, and through its repeated treachery, reneging on commitments, and violation of signed agreements — that it is an entity that respects no pact and abides by no understanding, as it continues to breach and violate all international agreements and obligations,” it said.

Israeli occupation authorities announced on Monday the closure of all crossings leading to the Gaza Strip, following the latest Iranian missile strikes on targets inside the occupied territories.

They claimed the measure was part of security procedures in response to recent developments. However, the closure comes as Palestinians in Gaza remain heavily dependent on aid deliveries after nearly three years of Israeli genocidal war, destruction, and displacement.

Palestinian and international rights organizations have repeatedly condemned the use of crossings and aid access as tools of political and military pressure, describing such measures as collective punishment prohibited under international law.

Gaza’s Government Media Office warned that the humanitarian catastrophe in the Strip is worsening at an unprecedented rate due to the continuing siege and restrictions on aid.

Gaza authorities have urgently called on the United Nations, humanitarian organizations, mediating countries, and the international community to intervene immediately.
