Yemen’s Deputy Foreign Minister Abdulwahid Abu Ras has warned that the continuation of the US-Israeli aggression against Iran will set the region and the entire world on fire, while reaffirming Yemen’s full solidarity with the Islamic Republic.
In a letter addressed to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Abu Ras strongly condemned the American-Zionist aggression against Iran, describing it as a flagrant violation of Iran’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, as well as a breach of all international norms and treaties.
“The continuation of this aggression endangers regional and global security and stability, negatively affects the global economy and energy prices, and if it persists, will drag the region and the world into a war from whose consequences everyone will burn,” the Yemeni deputy minister warned.
He emphasized the necessity for all Islamic countries to resist this aggression and to thwart the Zionist plot.
He also welcomed the diplomatic efforts by some nations to end the crisis.
Abu Ras praised the resilience and national unity of the Iranian people and concluded his letter by stressing Yemen’s complete solidarity with Iran in the face of the US-Israeli aggression.
The United States and Israel launched an unprovoked war of aggression against Iran on February 28, assassinating the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and striking nuclear facilities, schools, and hospitals.
Iran has responded with 100 waves of retaliatory strikes under Operation True Promise 4.
A fragile Pakistan‑brokered ceasefire is in place, but a US naval blockade of Iranian ports remains, and peace talks have stalled.
Yemen has been a key part of the Axis of Resistance, launching missile and drone attacks on Israeli targets and US warships in the Red Sea in solidarity with Palestine and Iran.
