Hezbollah leader says resistance drones are tightening noose on Israel

Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement, Sheikh Naim Qassem

Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem has praised Lebanese resistance forces for their retaliatory drone operations against Israeli military positions, stressing that the unmanned aircraft are closely monitoring all enemy movements and are tightening the noose around Israeli occupation forces.

In a message addressed to resistance commanders and fighters on Tuesday, Sheikh Qassem stated that the world’s arrogant powers dread their drones, their missiles paralyze enemies’ livelihood, and cause them great distress.

He noted that resistance forces’ strong determination serves as a thunderstorm against Zionist occupiers, clears all their darkness, and strikes fear into the hearts and minds of the enemy.

The Hezbollah chief underlined that the group will not relinquish its weapons as it is an internal Lebanese issue, and non-negotiable.

Elsewhere in his remarks, Sheikh Qassem said that Hezbollah will neither surrender nor bow down before anyone, and will continue to defend Lebanon and its nation.

“No matter how long it would take and what extent of damage we might sustain, the price is much lower than capitulation,” he stated.

Sheikh Qassem said that Hezbollah resistance forces will not abandon the battlefield, will turn it into an inferno for enemy forces, and will respond to all Israeli acts of aggression.

He noted that Hezbollah resistance fighters are confronting the “criminal and vicious” Israeli enemy, which is receiving full-fledged military and financial support from the United States.

“Nowadays, a small group of people with limited servicemen, military equipment, and support is facing up to a much stronger grouping which enjoys a larger military force, and is characterized by horrendous atrocities. This is while the first group is supported by God, and will eventually emerge triumphant,” Sheikh Qassem said.

The Hezbollah chief stressed that Lebanon is experiencing a joint US-Israeli aggression, and the Washington and the Tel Aviv regimes intend to bring Lebanon under their control as part of the so-called “Greater Israel” scheme.

Sheikh Qassem also touched down on the ceasefire agreement between Iran and the United States, describing it as the most effective measure to stop Israeli strikes on Lebanon.

He finally stated that responsibility rests upon authorities to safeguard Lebanon’s sovereignty during ambassador-level talks with representatives from Israel in Washington on May 14 and 15.
