Ten members of a family, including children, killed in US-Israeli attack on Qom

The Mehdi family - all of them were killed in an American-Israeli strike on Qom.

In a testament to the sacrifices offered by ordinary Iranians and the indiscriminate nature of enemy aggression, ten members of a single family were killed in an American-Israeli strike on the central Iranian city of Qom late Thursday.

Local authorities in the city confirmed Friday that they attained martyrdom following a “brutal terrorist attack” on a residential neighborhood in the holy city.

The cowardly strike, which targeted the Pardisan district, claimed the lives of the Mehdi family, including women and children.

Iranian officials condemned the attack as a "brutal and terrorist act" carried out by aggressive enemies, a stark reminder of the savagery Iran faces as it defends its sovereignty.

Among the martyrs are Hasan Mehdi, Roghayeh Pirouzeh, Mohammad Javad Mehdi, Ali Akbar Mehdi, Zahra Mehdi, and Haniyeh Mehdi.

They were joined by the father, mother, and two brothers of Hasan Mehdi, bringing the total death toll within the family to ten.

The attack on Pardisan, a small residential area in Qom, which is home to the revered Hazrat Masoumeh shrine, came on the 28th day of the war of aggression against Iran.

The unprovoked and illegal war has so far claimed the lives of more than 13,000 Iranians, the majority of them ordinary civilians, including children.

On the first day of the imposed war, at least 170 schoolchildren were killed in the southern city of Minab after an American-Israeli coalition struck an elementary school.

According to human rights activists, civilians have borne the brunt of the enemy's aggression, sparking anger and outrage across the world.
