The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) announces the commencement of Wave 42 of Operation True Promise 4 following the US-Israeli aggression against Iran.
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced the commencement of Wave 42 of Operation True Promise 4 following the US-Israeli aggression against Iran.
According to a statement released by the IRGC's official news outlet on Thursday, the operation was initiated moments after the publication of the first message from the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.
The IRGC stated that the wave was carried out in honor of the martyrs of the holy month of Ramadan and dedicated this phase of the operation to "the leader of the martyrs, the martyred leader of the revolution, and his respected family."
The statement detailed that the operation involved the launch of heavy missiles, including the Emad, Qadr, Khaibar Shekan, and Fattah, as well as explosive drones, striking targets in the heart of Tel Aviv and bases belonging to the "terrorist American army."
On February 28, the United States and the Israeli regime started their unprovoked military assault on Iran. Following the aggression, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was assassinated.
Iran began to swiftly retaliate against the criminal aggression by launching barrages of missiles and drone attacks on the Israeli-occupied territories as well as on the US bases in regional countries.
Iran has repeatedly emphasized that it only targets American positions and bases in the region and does not seek conflict with Arab countries.
