The head of the central committee of Quds Day has announced plans for the annual rallies, saying 6,000 domestic and foreign photographers and journalists will cover the event across Iran.

Speaking at a press conference announcing the plans for International Quds Day by the Islamic Advertising Coordination Council on Tuesday, Ramezan Sharif said more than 200 foreign media representatives from various radio, TV and news agencies will be present at this important event.

“Under the guidance of our martyr Leader [Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei], we will witness greater victories for our nation and the humiliation of the Zionist and American regimes,” he added.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran, leading the fight against the Zionist regime and commemorating Quds Day, revealed the nature of the Zionist regime at the start of the Revolution, and the abundant statements of our martyr leader on Palestine and his renowned measures to support the Palestinian people are well‑known,” he noted.

“The International Quds Day did not allow the issue of Palestine to be forgotten – something that was the desire of the Zionists,” he noted.

He stressed that Israel is crumbling and facing destruction and that all over the world, it has been acknowledged that the occupying regime has lost its balance.

One of the goals of this regime with regard to dragging the US into a war against Iran is to divert public attention away from its crimes in Palestine, he said.

“However, with the guidance of our martyred leader, we are witnessing the greater victory of our nation and the humiliation of the Zionist regime and the US,” he said, adding that in the near future, the Iranian people will transform this sensitive historical juncture into a page of defeat for America and Israel.

On February 28, the United States and the Israeli regime started their unprovoked military assault on Iran, assassinating the former Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and several top military commanders.

Iran began to swiftly retaliate against the criminal aggression by launching barrages of missile and drone attacks on the Israeli-occupied territories as well as on the US bases in regional countries.
